I'm accompanying Iman to Singapore this Sunday for a whole week. I'm stoked with excitement, I've been to Singapore's Changi Airport many times but have only been to Singapore itself once when I was five or six years old... so Singapore show me what you got to offer!

On our first wedding anniversary, we headed to Marche Movenpick for dinner. I didn't want to fuss about the night so everything else that happened after dinner was pretty much impromptu. the night was stellar. Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulillah, a year has passed, and today we celebrate our 1st anniversary as husband and wife. I can never thank the Almighty enough for His wonderful gift to me; Iman (duh!). All praises to the Almighty.

Last August, we turned 5 years. Two days ago, our marriage turned 8 months, here's to many more love ahead sayang! 

#313 Balik Kampong

I don't have a kampong to begin with, neither does Iman. So this Eid, we headed east to Ibu's (Iman's mom) kampong in Merang, Terengganu. The main purpose of our trip was to celebrate the union of Iman's cousin abang Epoi & his wife, Kak Linda but we managed to kill two birds with one stone.  It was a 6 hour drive, and a trip laden with eating! Although some shops were still closed during Eid, we managed to eat Ikan Celup tepung (Malay-style tempura), Nasi Kerabu for breakfast (I'm not usually a breakfast eater, what more eat rice at 7 in the morning!) but it was worth the try! I Can't wait to paint Terengganu town red again!

I'm heading east for an assignment early tomorrow morning insyaAllah. Iman is accompanying me. We will be staying in Tanjong Jara, Dunggun. I make a return to the beautiful resort, this time as an adult and married! :) Hope everyone has a fantastic week, watch this space, might upload a photo or two while I'm there.

I miss our wedding day, but I was so glad once all out reception was over! I don't quite fancy the idea being watched by people when I am eating or having to smile gleefully until my cheeks hurts! hehe.

June has proven to be a hectic month for me.I am juggling between photography and working with the Chef in a Hat. Workload is pilling up, and I feel like I need to duplicate myself to keep the show going!

 I'll be traveling a lot this month insya'Allah for work and pleasure. Hence why I'm rushing to meet datelines so when I'm out of town, I can be at peace and not glued to my iPhone or laptop. ..(yeah, right!). 

Here's a sneak peek to where I'm off to:

First location from the 21st-24th of June

Second location from 29th of June - 1st of July. 

I was supposed to head down to Sydney, Australia on the 14th of June for an assignment but it got postponed to some time August. Oh well, at least I am traveling! Now back to work!

I had planned to share photos of my recent trip to Pulau Pangkor, but in the midst of returning home, I fell sick. A straightforward flu which comes with a fever every now and then. Perhaps this is my body's way of telling me to kick back and relax...

While waiting for classes to adjourn, I'd be very busy in the next few weeks to come. I need to start making our home feel more like home...

We're back from our 3D 2N stay at Pulau Langkawi. Let's just say we both owe each other another honeymoon due to both of us being really sick to enjoy basking under the sun to the fullest.
