We went out and about the instance the heavy rain subsided, surrendering to the bright afternoon sun. We walked aimlessly in the new shopping center that recently opened in the vicinity of our neighborhood. 1Mont Kiara has the biggest Village Grocer in Kuala Lumpur, so that made me happy, although certain items are slightly overpriced compared to the other supermarkets.
We ate our lunch, and both of us nearly died of a heart attack when we got the bill, the cashier had erroneously charged us for someone else's bill which was 5 times more expensive than ours. Luckily we got that sorted out, or else, Sally & I would have ended up washing dishes in the kitchen ha-ha!
After lunch, we made our way to KLPAC, sat by the lake swinging our feet. Sally fed the ducks and tortoise bread she had bought prior to our trip. As the shadows grew gangly, and the bright afternoon sun slowly dissipates, and a whole loaf of bread finished, we were ready for home.
ps/ If you didn't already know, Sally is my baby sister :) well, not quite a baby anymore.
